I haven't discussed my current reading list lately, so I'm going to do that now.

I've spent the summer slogging through North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell.  I'm about 3/4 of the way through it, and I'm hoping to finish it by the end of this month.  It's been a slow read, and I think it's because I find the heroine, Margaret Hale, hard to take ( Read more... )

Two weeks of CMA school down.  It's going well so far.  I successfully tested out of the stupid computer class, thank goodness, so I now have six classes rather than seven, and my Mondays and Wednesdays now end at 3:10pm instead of 7:30pm.  Biology is easier than I thought it would be so far...but the first exam is this upcoming Wednesday, so we'll ( Read more... )
